Once a disciple brought a friend to meet Baba in New York. This friend was a wealthy Wall Street financier, who sometimes used not-so-honest means in his dealings.
When he came into the room, he was made to sit in front of Baba's chair. Baba looked at him, and asked him "What is your name?"
"My name is Frank, sir," responded the man.
Baba again repeated the question: "What is your name?"
Noticing that Baba was wearing a hearing aid, the man replied a little louder this time: "My name is Frank!"
Without batting an eyelid, Baba leaned a little forward towards the man's face and again asked, "No, what is your name?"
Puzzled, the man said, "I just told you, MY-NAME-IS-FRANK!"
Baba sat back with a little chuckle and said, "No, you should be "frank", but you are crooked."
The whole room burst into laughter.
