My affectionate and divine Eileen Ma,

I am extremely happy to receive your birthday letter and donation. But you do not know the meaning of PARAM-HAM-SA. It is not a swan.

Ham means your whole gross body, which is full of delusion and extrovert stages.

Sa means your life breath, which is inhaled by the supreme almighty Lord, who is constantly hiding in your fontanel and inhaling from the day of your birth.

Without sa your gross body cannot do any work.

There are 7 types of work - one type for each center. For example, the first center controls money and work (ham) but there is also sa. If sa does not inhale then you are a dead body. You cannot go to work. The second, sex, center is not possible without sa. This is hamsa, not swan. The third center regulates the food we take. If the supreme Lord does not inhale, you cannot get hunger, you cannot eat food and cannot digest food. Sa is inhaling from above, and this makes you eat and digest food in the stomach, ham. This is ham-sa, not swan. Ham and sa are one; you and He are one and always have been one.

The person who is always watching sa in his every work, will remain in the material world but be detached from it. He is Paramahamsa. He will remain in the heart and always remain free from anger, pride, cruelty and immoral sex; on the contrary he will always pray for the people for the welfare of mankind. Every day I pray for you all, especially for your mother, who gave the beautiful house to you. I look at your photos and the photos of many people and I pray for them all. Even those who have no photos, I pray for many people daily. This is Paramahamsa, not swan.

In the spine of every person there is no water, but ham and sa are always moving up and down the spine. There are many lotuses in the spine: 4, 6, 10, 12, and 16 petaled- lotuses but there is no pond. Even in the seven centers ham and sa are remaining, but there is not a swan. Each body is ham, and within each body the formless sa is also remaining. There is one universal counterpart remaining: the supreme Lord, that is sa. This is ham and sa. You and He are one and always have been one.

If you meditate deeply, then you will never feel your gross body, but you will always hear the aum sound or conch-blowing sound all over the world, and then you will see the light of white horses and milk-white light and you will get samadhi stage: the pulseless stage.

I hope your mother and you all are well. You all take my deepest affection and blessings.

Humble Hariharananda

P.S. I am almost well. Yesterday I went to a Hindu temple where I talked about Kriya Yoga and ham sa sadhana.

Humble H. Giri
